It'd be interesting to see retention rates. Anecdotally, I've observed Paganism to have five-year cycles where people express interest, get into it, and then move on to other things or other religious callings.

I was just thinking about contributing to the "charity" Feeding America. Until I discovered that the salary for its CEO, Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, was approximately $949,866 in 2024, with her total compensation being $1,113,502. Apparently, feeding America isn't her top priority.

My last surviving grandparent passed earlier this year at the age of 97, and I inherited her Waterford crystal set which her mother (my great-grandmother) had given her a glass of every holiday season.
I also got her salt and pepper shakers - which are still full.
