Pen on paper. A set of five eyes in two columns. First column has three eyes and the second has two. 1. Most follows my reference. 2. Slightly more stylized, but still more curved than I wanted. 3. Straight line eye to help shift mindset. 4. Stylized eye with heavy use of angles. 5. What would be the other eye to #4, as I was pleased with how that one turned out.

A goal I have for 2026:

One fully completed art piece per month minimum (including color).

I know it’s likely a long time for each piece, but color and digital work is my weakness. Maybe I’ll increase frequency as time goes on, but one a month feels like a doable place to start.

To follow up on this…

The entire family has noticed an improvement in audio quality with Tidal. It’s significant enough that I’m starting to think maybe my hearing wasn’t as bad as I thought it was - Spotify just lacked clarity.

Been struggling with a bit of an art block lately, so I revisited one of my first mediums (posca) and did an intuitive piece, where I just throw shit down and turn it into something. So here’s some sort of space flower or something 😂

I think I’m finally happy with my Dracthyr’s visage concept. Instead of dragon scales, I’m going with snake, which are represented by shading on the upper half of his face.

It was recommended that I back off on digital for a while, so I started a sketchbook just for working on character art. My hope is to fill this before shifting back to CSP.
