The footage that the woman in the pink coat recorded is now out there, on here. It couldn't be clearer what a callous, brutal deliberate murder this was.

The news is all terrible but the fact that it’s the National Year of Reading in the UK is a glow of light in the darkness. Let’s prioritise reading brilliant stories this year, both to ourselves and to our children. Reading fiction builds self-esteem & develops empathy. 💕📚💕

Tick tock tick tock for paedophiles (we hope).
Wrath, envy, treason, rape, and murder’s rages,
Thy heinous hours wait on them as their pages.

Thank you @librarianjones.com and Suzette Baker for this powerful piece. 38 million Americans now live in an unfortunate place and time where censorship is legal.
“Authoritarians gain power when citizens stop paying attention. Visit your local library, check out books, and keep reading. If we stay unified and informed, we can ensure reading w/out restriction remains the foundation of our democracy and a fundamental freedom for all.”

A Labour Culture Secretary, Lisa Nandy, is promoting idea of advertising on the #BBC and/or a part subscription model for its future funding.

I despair.

How can the BBC's *unique* *precious* blend of universality, independence, freedom from commercial pressure and trust be maintained in this way?

Hello. I live in Bristol in the UK which isn't scheduled to have a screening. Do you know if there's any other way I can watch? Thank you.

As it ends at 723pm, some will hear the tragic Manchester news for the first time.

At that time, please join many of us to send a message of solidarity to British Jews. Thanks Together coalition for proposing.

Something to make you smile.
If ever I feel blue about the state of the world. If ever all of it makes me feel hopeless and forlorn. I do one simple thing. And that one thing is running "tesla sales" through any news search engine. And a glimmer of hope arises that the arc of justice may actually exist.

It's Whistlebinkies. They're on FB. Pls leave them a review! #SinkTheBink
