You are in a forest at twilight, just as the last pinks of sunset fade and the stars start to poke through you hear a noise.
Looking up, a figure unfurls from a large tree. It has a haunting face with large glowing red eyes and a gaping mouth. It's body is indistinct but appears to be covered in grey hair and possesses large leathery wings.

A mysterious figure creeps through a dark forest. It has a red face with glowing yellow eyes protected by a hood shaped like the ace of spades. Its arms are also red and are held in a classic creeper pose, with an extra joint and end in three fingered hands. Its torso is bony and green and leads into a skirt of tentacles.

It's Drawtober! I decided to kick off with Nug-Soth, the posthuman "vampire" sorcerer and member of the Dark Conquerors from the year 16,000.

A vampire broods over his cybernetic left arm in the light of a red crescent moon. His head is mutated into a skull like shape with no lower jaw and he extremely muscular. Bronze cybernetics cover much of his upper body and pinkish tendrils shift below his corpse green skin.

A cybernetic figure with a body almost entirely made of grey panels of artificial musculature and made feminine by nanogel shapers. The most extreme feature is that two heads sprout from their broad shoulders. One is a martian with rusty skin and dark hair and the other is a redheaded typ. They're in a sassy stance and giving each other eyes.

Hey Doc. I'm really worried. My left arm has been sore and heavy feeling the last few days and there's this weird twitch in my bicep. It's been driving me crazy!

An x-ray of a person's left arm reveals a strange being attached to the bone. It's a long stick bug like parasite that has a vaguely human looking face and appears to be replacing the bone it is scraping with a resinous framework. It is a Bone Fairy and is preparing its nest for offspring.

There are 9 cybernetic arms. There is a mix of styles and technology on display.
1 rough purple nanite grown plates over slick black musculature.
2 smooth white plates and ball joints like a doll's arm
3 even dark purple gel over carbon bones
4 utilitarian metal segments with lots of mobility. It terminates in a hand with 4 fingers and 2 thumbs
5 A stylish blend of pink to blue gel and flexible plastic
6 Strangely organic strips of dark metal surround a blowing blue core that peeks through gaps
7 Flexible plastic with bulging muscles of translucent plastic revealing runic circuitry
8 Organically styled layered plates of plastic.
9 A nearly abstract arm of red morphiplast with large holes

Wow, what is with the western world and teeth falling out? I've definitely had some variants on that one. One time my teeth started falling out and I looked in the mirror to see I had one of those fish-tongue replacing parasites that was pulling them out and another where my entire mouth detached.

Animation is a medium, not a genre, and, like any medium, there are some concepts that can only be properly portrayed using it. House of Leaves is an unfilmable book, the wizard Ekh in the 1983 short "Wow, a talking fish!" Would never have the same impact without being animated.

An alien being. It is roughly barrel shaped with five sided symmetry. It has five tentacular limbs it stands on, with five manipulator limbs that branch into five tentacles tipped with five fingers. Its head is five yellow petals covered in blue cilia and tipped in red eyes. It has five wings but only two are fanned out, there are visible slots on its torso from wich more could extend.

A depiction of great Cthulhu. It vaguely resembles a octopus headed man with wings. It has six red eyes and an unknown glowing yellow organ on its head. Four tentacles flank a beard of glowing blue tendrils. Its wings are somewhere between fin and moth-like and ripple with ectoplasmic vapour. Its torso is covered with yellow and blue glowing sacks. Its legs are short and thick and terminate in stompy foot pads. A number of tentacles hang below, like a tail.

A human mummy with the top half of it's head cut off and limbs bound in its own wrapping. Only its mouth is visible through the wrappings. It hangs from tendrils of crimson ooze. The tendrils are dotted with burning orange eyes, one of which bears the three-barred pupil of Nyarlathotep.

A massive, vaguely humanoid figure with rough green/brown skin balanced on three snake-like tentacles. Its arms are relatively thin and stick-like and bear only three fingers. Its head is another tentacle that fades towards a rusty red. Naked gums and teeth are visible through folds of skin in this upper tentacle.

$A mostly radially symmetrical being with segmented limbs that branch like fractals. Each node has petals that can unfold to reveal a shapeshifting mass that can take many shapes, usually human faces.$

The meat witches celebrate Star Days by decorating, feasting and exchanging small handmade tokens of affection. The context is long forgotten but the rituals remain.

Two meat witches (lanky, feminine, grey skinned, tailed and four handed post-humans) float in a red, fleshy room with an open aperture to the scintillating light of hyperspace. At the center of the room is a conical tree-like growth covered in soft protrusions from which a knobbly bioluminescent rope is being wound. One of the witches is about to place a starfish like creature on top of the tree thing.

Auncle Nya lounges, smirking and raising a glass of red liquid. They appear to be a handsome and muscular dark skinned human wearing loose feminine clothes with an egyptian inspired statement necklace. Their burning orange tri-lobed eyes gives them away.

The nightmare sphinx is a chimerical beast. It is a quadruped with hooves in the back and humanlike hands in front. Its head is formed of two humanoid skulls on either side of a somewhat birdlike beak with a pair of hornlike projections that run down its neck. It is spreading wings of tentacles and eyes.

The Crawling Chaos appears as a cone of flesh and skin, twisting around in a spiral of exposed muscle and howling circular mouths. It stands on countless little black tendrils.

The Dweller in Darkness appears as a humanoid torso with no arms on its shoulders and a faceless head pulled back in an arching tendril. Below the waist dozens of limbs of various size push it along the ground.
