Crowded House's "Together Alone" would be absolute perfection if not for "Skin Feeling" 😬

“We are told by leaders that we are the future. But when it comes to the ongoing pandemic, our present is being stolen right in front of our eyes.”

Incredible speech by Violet Affleck who warned about the ongoing dangers of COVID & Long Covid, & advocated for masks and clean air at the UN today!

Yep. Why don't some Public Health departments seem to care about this? Ottawa Public Health is posting about sodium, fibre, and picky eaters on their Bluesky, FB and Insta accounts today... 🫠 the same day of the Fall Covid vax update. Make it make sense.

@ottawapublichealth.ca Another example of great messaging ⬆️ OPH website is fine, but this doesn't take much to do and really expands your messaging reach. More likely to be shared on social media too.

Would really love to see @ottawapublichealth.ca do this kind of messaging around Covid.
Thank you, @durhamhealthnc.bsky.social 👏🏼

The old "Rules for thee, but not for me."

Agreed! On that note, I just heard on the news that Pete was Harris's first pick for VP but felt it was too risky... What a mistake that was not to go with Pete 😭

Can anyone provide context for the difference between VERY HIGH and SEVERE? Infections seem low (1 in 81 Canadians=1.2% of pop'n). I'm very Covid cautious and appreciate the work done with this and waste water testing, but if 1.2% is "very high", what would 10-15% be? Catastrophic?

Not helpful. Sounds like policy jargon lol
