Dawntrail created a funny disconnect between people who play and don't play Monk. I keep seeing people who don't play it say it's overly complicated after one look at the UI and those who do play it know you just press whatever lights up on your hotbar, just like Viper.

I randomly tweeted at Yasumi Matsuno that I liked the Save the Queen story he wrote for FF14 and he for some reason replied to me that the story won't continue, which made the news for a few days.

One of the things I like the most about Arc System Works games is that people actually pick different characters there. Going online in Street Fighter or Tekken comes with fighting the same few characters over and over again and it makes the fatigue set in faster.

Miary Zo is fun enough to grind the rest of this battle pass with, but man... my biggest worry for when they add Julia is that they'll give her 2 new stances that get powered up by Heat and make her entire gameplan revolve around them.

They better put Julia in season 3 of Tekken 8. I'm so mainless in this game that I'm grinding the current battle pass on Reina, even though I'd never play a Mishima.

Before the DLC for Persona 3 Reload came out, people liked to revise history by claiming The Answer wasn't hated by most people who played it in the original, so now it's funny that it was added to the remake and people are like "Oh yeah, the non-stop dungeon crawling *did* suck."

I remember when I first beat FF Tactics, I had to process the ending for several days and now the voice acting made it hit just as hard.

Struggling to see why SE decided to add Tactician mode to Ivalice Chronicles. There's not much tactical about it, since it's just a "their numbers go up, yours go down" difficulty and the only tactic is to grind more to keep up with incoming damage. It's the only new thing I don't like.

There's no time when Monk has felt the most perfect because it's always had things I liked and disliked about it. I really like the Blitz system from EW and DT, but I miss having the most positionals as a core identity. On the other hand, 2.0-5.3 MNK had Greased Lightning, which I never liked.
