Quick games of Star Realms, Slipways, and Race of the Galaxy leave me feeling a desire for something more story focused. I've sketched out a three-phase game where players use character, location, event, item, and stakes cards to create a story in 3 acts.

Just picking a bone with #BaldursGate3. I find a huge club that Humanoids can't use. Yet I have an Undead and a Fiend in my party. There were separate cut scenes establishing that in the wheel of creature types, Undead and Fiends aren't Humanoids. Yet, the vampire and devil are listed as "Humanoid."
