Seeing a lot of progressive allies dunking on Carney this morning (some of whom are saying the pipeline deal somehow makes Canada *more* dependent on the US). As a person who aspires to be considered progressive, for whom climate is far and away the biggest issue, I thought this was interesting.
Mark Carney managed to trade a pipeline that will never get built for meaningful progress on industrial carbon pricing and electricity interties — both of which will get more wind and solar built.

According to the latest team valuations, the Senators are up 22% in a year. That’s a tidy little return for Andlauer. He could sell the team only 2-3 years after buying it and feasibly make a billion dollars.
