Veering Towards Turmoil

A "solo" project of a Finnish visual sound nerd who's into experimentation, creative collaborations and various sorts of subcultural curiosities.

Name refers to my heroes, Cristobal Tapia de Veer and Lucrecia Dalt.

He/him

1312, antifa, ally
Pinned
Unfinished experimentations to judge me by.

Some of the final versions might take time. For example, one tune has four tracks of simultaneous improvised tuba on it. How the fuck am I supposed to mix them in a any remotely clever way?

A so-called DJ set. Unfinished VTT shite. @ Ant Brew 6.9.24 Put together by TKK aka Sami Huttunen. Featured musicians Aleksi Saraskari and Cedrik Bano.

Occasionally, when fictional horror I stumble upon isn't inspiringly monstrous enough, all I need is seeing a Gaetz post.

Ominous aural shit incoming.

As a video game player, I'm too shit to succeed in any of the games that are mentioned in this article, but as an experimental musician, it would be interesting to produce scores and creature sounds for something similarly punishing.
What does my love for impossibly difficult video games say about me?
From Demon Souls to Baby Steps, challenging games keep a certain type of player coming back for more. I wonder why we are such suckers for punishment

Lincoln memorial wouldn't work with a gun, but many of us Evil Dead enthusiasts would be fine with a chainsaw.
I'm not a West Wing obsessed lib or anything but the more I see pictures of this the more fucked up I think it is. It's like he cut off one of the hands of the Lincoln memorial with an angle grinder so he could add a big gun to it.
The Treasury Department instructed employees not to share to share photos of the demolition of parts of the White House’s East Wing

This picture alone would work as a visual accompaniment to some of my creepier floaters.

Fucking gorgeous. It's not even 8 a.m. here in Finland yet, but I have a nocturnal urge to sketch a little deadite ditty. Luckily, I'm unemployed.

Thanks for the inspiring follow, @debased-designs.bsky.social

This #NoKings anthem deserves to go viral, it would obliterate MAGA's tear ducts if an antifa earworm topped Christmas charts.

I thought making a bagpipe tune I don't despise is impossible.

I've been (de)composing creepy sci-fi shite for hours and thought I'd need an inspiration break.

This post's comment section is very inspiring, the contrast to my alien horror waltz is rather amusing.

Clever comedy and thoughtful horror have eerily similar qualities.

Well done, #NoKings hordes!
OK guys, post your best signs from today for entry into my Top 15 No Kings Sign Contest.

We recorded an improvised trio piece while rehearsing for our Halloween gig. An ominous, intense, rather aimless horror soundtrack for adventurous dry humpers.

The movie is an irrelevant placeholder, appropriate visual shit in progress.

As a longtime graffiti enthusiast, I tried to decipher the sprayed scribbles for a moment before noticing what the sign is for.

Even if those letters mean nothing, they still make more sense than the fascistic Charlie Kirk cult fuckery.

Still think Antifa isn't violent? Here's bodycam footage of Antifa founder B.J. Blazkowicz shooting a heroic member of ICE who was just trying to protect this great nation. Thank God we have Blazkowicz's girlfriend in custody.

repost this if an editor has ever saved you from yourself
An actual hot take: Too many authors are afraid of editors watering down their voice or whatever and not afraid enough of editors letting you put any old slop on the page.

Disco Volante, my all-time favourite album, turns 30 this Friday and I'm building a celebratory 5-hour DJ set.

Curating Mr. Bungle -related genre hopping chaos to a handful of nerds in a pub is one of this year's highlights, that's how meaningful my life is.

The set is slightly manic at times.

RABBIT TRAP (2025)

Quite a mindfuck. The atmosphere is thick and surreal, the sounds more crucial than in most horror movies. The story takes place in the late '70s, but none of the modern aural quirks sound anachronical.

Also, the beauty of the score by @lucreciadalt.bsky.social makes no sense.

So, is this cunt trying to, clumsily, channel T. S. Eliot or something?

Incomprehensibly intriguing. I have never wanted to be able to attend an event more badly.
I'm incredibly honoured to be part of the Future Ruins event created & curated by Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross.
As a an all time fan of the wonderful disruptors Nine Inch Nails this is actually surreal.
And that line up...🔥😭🙌

A kind of dev weirdo I'd love to collaborate with, no matter how tiny the project would be.
Puritans are odd. I remember all the complaints I got because my horror game 'set in a microcosm of erotic nightmares' featured creatures that reflected that theme.

Take this guy for example: he appears on all my main 2D horror games, with better animation each time. I’m not getting rid of him.

"He said it looked like hundreds of Mickey Mouses had been caught stealing by the Taliban."

'The Paper' is better than any version of its predecessor 'The Office' and, a few episodes in, Mare is already one of my all-time favourite journo characters on television.
