Israel has destroyed the "ceasefire" in hours.

It is murdering Palestinians, and maintaining its illegal siege.

Not a ceasefire.

Name a protest movement, anywhere or at any time, that has achieved its goals without being annoying and obstructive.
People like this enjoy the freedoms our political ancestors gained for them, while attacking the means by which they were achieved.
jackdawg52.bsky.social
Nope, you make protest obstructive and annoying you lose the good will of the general population.
When they ring their local member to complain - they dont tell the local member to deal with the issues raised by the protesters, they tell them to deal with the protesters.

We are going to have to work very hard because at the moment it’s looking very likely that 2C is going to happen at some point between 2036-2039.

48% of Ireland's waterbodies are so polluted, contaminated with chemicals, choked with algae, deprived of oxygen, lacking in species variety or physically altered and damaged that they fail to meet minimally acceptable standards.

And it's getting worse.

Nope - you’ve described being a privileged white man growing up with all the privileges you want and nothing to fight for.

Stop being such a self centered person and start looking around you.

Keeping an eye on our planet's recent temperature trend and variability (12-month running mean). Many of the temporary peaks and dips are related to upper ocean heat anomalies in the Pacific (like ENSO).

+ Data from doi.org/10.24381/cds...
+ Climate change indicators: zacklabe.com/climate-chan...
Line graph time series of a 12-month running mean of global mean surface temperature anomalies from 1979 through September 2025. There is a long-term increasing trend and large interannual variability on this graph. Anomalies are computed relative to a 1991-2020 baseline. Blue shading is shown for below average anomalies, and red shading is shown for above average anomalies.

Then compare those to the hurricanes from:
2015-2020

Then compare those to the hurricanes from:

This piece is beautiful and informative all at the same time (and a great reminder about why everyone who feels relatively comfortable participating in our democracy at the moment really MUST get out and join the masses in the streets--and it's going to be the masses at #NoKings 2.0) 👇

You are gonna see rumors of Caribbean storms so let’s discuss. Believe me the last thing I want to talk about - when we are so late in the season and we can taste the finish line - is tropical development. But alas I must.
The signal is pretty robust, BUT it’s far off in the future, about 10 days 1/
