Over the last year, the Trump 2.0 has bombed:

Yemen
Syria
Iraq
Iran
Somalia
Nigeria
Venezuela
Boats in the Caribbean and the Pacific
Trump: "So this has been I think -- and a lot of people say it -- the most successful year of any administration in American history. We extinguished eights wars."

Tariffs are imposed on goods, not services, so let's check in on that breakdown.

Since "Liberation Day":
- Goods-producing sector has shed -90,000 jobs
- Private services have added +391,000 jobs

(The government sector has also shed a further -207k jobs.)

Democrats really scored an own goal with the TikTok ban. The company has gone from being owned by China to being owned by China and Trump allies.

If the concern was TikTok pushing problematic politics, Dems are actually worse off.
TikTok Deal Done And It’s Somehow The Shittiest Possible Outcome, Making Everything Worse
There were rumblings about this for a while, but it looks like the Trump TikTok deal is done, and it’s somehow the worst of all possible outcomes, amazingly making all of the biggest criticis…

David Brooks is a child-rape apologist who pretends not to understand that the reason Epstein is news is the decades-long cover-up.

He also hung out with Epstein, so "elites trafficking children isn't that serious, really" is not a shocking stance for him. @nytimes.com has no code of ethics.

If only Dems had communicated the emergency situation in an effective way. All 20% of us who were paying attention spent 4 years in disbelief as the Dem party pretended we were back to business as usual, even though that's exactly what gave us Trump to begin with.
January 6 was like a much dumber version of Hitler’s Beer Hall Putsch and yet a plurality of American voters were like, Yeah, let’s give that guy the nuke codes again. An absolutely world historical debacle of societal ignorance. I’ll never understand it.

There are currently 273 Republicans in the house and Senate. Five of them are Black, which is the highest number of Black Republicans in Congress since Reconstruction. Clearly it was time the GOP did something to rein in discrimination against white people.

Another "We should all be nice to nazis" story, this time from the Atlantic and disguised as a pro-worker-protection piece.
“Those of us on the left should be fighting to improve protections for workers of all races, and thereby for the betterment of people’s material conditions regardless of their views,” Arash Azizi argues:
Why the Cinnabon Story Doesn’t Make Me Happy
The left should be promoting working-class solidarity, not delighting in seeing workers summarily dismissed.

Here's a few reminders:
Piracy is free.
Piracy can be done at the comfort of your home.
Piracy actively spites corporations.

Cancel your Disney+ subscription, stop going to theaters to see Disney movies and stop buying their merchandise.

Also watch Knights of Guinevere and support that instead.

This Post Malone halftime set is truly lowest common denominator middle America pandering horrific.

This legitimately, even sanitized for Dallas/NFL TV audiences, might be the worst music set I've ever seen on television.

This is why America keeps losing.

AFAIC, troops on the streets are only half a step away from troops quartered in our houses.

I'm not going to shoot any, but I'm also not going to weep for them when they're inevitably shot.

It's like punching nazis. It's going to happen, and it's not sad.
