Intent and effort are two very important things in art, effort without intent is empty, intent without effort is lazy, combined you actually make something wonderful.

AI generation might have some intent, but it has no effort, so it will always be lazy, no matter how it looks.

And lets go back to a previous hypothetical, if you asked an AI to write a heart felt message to your significant other, they might feel joy from the message, but then when you tell them you got AI to write it because you couldnt be bothered, then the message is ruined because you lacked the intent.

Your hypothetical is quite literally impossible as an AI cant make anything good since all it does is plagiarize. All it can do is make aesthetically pleasing because thats what it rips from, but its always soulless without intent (unless the intent is just big boob anime)

Intention on the part of the artist is absolutely required. What do you think abstract paintings are??? Those paintings REQUIRE the intention of the artist to truely understand, all art is like that, the audience may interpret things differently, but the meaning is decided by the artist

The issue is Blendshape keys, it does not like them at all so I had to delete all the ones on my avatar to get it imported.

If you get stuck, feel free to throw a message my way! The amount of pain getting gravity to affect the hair and tails of models in CSP is something I wish I had help with

This guide seems pretty comprehensive! My issues when I was doing it was that I was converting a model made for the game VRChat into something for CSM, and it didn't like some of the stuff on the model causing it to crash repeatedly

I actually made my own rig (just because I know how), but Mixamo should work! You will need Clip Studio Modeler to get the controls set up, and CSM is so painful to figure out for the first time

Could be you had selected objects only when exporting? Ive screwed around majorly with blender, CSP and CSM to get my own character 3d model not only imported into CSP, but with the same posing controls as the CSP models. I can give it a look if you'd like!

The optin is always being forced as long as these AI companies continue to scrape any and all copyrighted works, they dont care that they're breaking the law, and the law doesnt care that they're doing it.

That doesnt change the fact that the damage is still being done. And the environmental costs of these data centers are horrid too. The strain on the power grid, horrid use of water, all these things are issues that are currently being caused by the these companies and AI.

The other problems is you know, the violation of peoples copyright, forced "opt in", and zero regulation causing videos of dead peoples family members being made saying and doing horrid things

AI in film making isnt about helping workers, its about replacing them. Even the "efficiency" crap is bogus and doesnt help the workers, more movies faster means the workers will be paid less in the long run.

It doesnt help anyone but those in charge wanting to save money.

I continue to ask, who does AI help? The workers? No, everything AI can do they can do better. Actors? No, because how can AI "help" an actor without replacing them? CEOs? Yes, because it gives them the belief that they can replace all these people and not have to pay them.
