A lil' post for new devs on Steam. When you go live, you WILL get contacted by a ton of Steam Curators looking for keys. You should *absolutely* use Curator Connect (it's under Marketing Tools & Data) if you want to send keys to curators. This keeps your game out of the hands of resellers.

Each of our routes is well over the length of an average novel by word count, in fact. I've learned a lot about just how long it takes to do this right (and will definitely be taking those lessons into my next project with a stronger knowledge of when to start promotion).

it just occurs to me writing a book is generally considered a challenging nd time-consuming thing to do, but making a vn is often seen as 'easy' and 'low effort' even tho making a vn is literally writing a book plus a bunch of extra steps
