The path back from burnout is so much longer than you can anticipate, and it gets harder the more it happens. Learning to be patient and kinder to myself has been a big process, and a year and a half later I'm still not back to where I once was.

Moving abroad is a lot of hard work. It's challenging, especially if you struggle with things like social anxiety (it me), and has so many little 'you don't know what you don't know' little surprises along the way.
I still think it's absolutely worth it if you have the opportunity and means.
