I can back this up via my Oma's stories of Germany during WWII. Everything is moving much faster because we are armed with portable technology and instant posting.

The thing that completely punctured the premise of this being at all about immigration is they weren't sending the gestapo to Texas and Florida which have much higher numbers of immigrants where they would also receive local co-operation, so it had to be about retaliation against Dems and terrorism.

The Offshore Patrol Vessel is another Moriarty classic. A 2023 review found the $5b program for 12 OPV’s was cooked. They were too big for patrol boats could not survive if used in any surface combatant mission. So they kept the $5b budget and cut numbers from 12 to 6. Off to Washington with you!
