Private Eye offers up an excellently scornful commentary on the relentless polling. It’s become ridiculous and has oversimplified our politics to dangerous levels of stupid and irresponsible.

Missed out on The Clangers and all other 70s kids Tv. Also didn’t see Grease or the first Star Wars as only came to live here in 1978.

And the thing that also enrages me is that they are allowing the right to weaponise anti semitism when we also know that Farage, Robinson etc are also deeply anti semitic and would never protect Jews

We were just saying that somehow we never really thought the security guards would ever have to do anything. Ours today was also a bit shocked I think.

😂 my poor son was so upset though. All the other teams went to the Empire State Building and saw the Statue of Liberty etc while the UK team ate sandwiches by the side of the road. In fairness the national finals in London were the first time his teammates had left Norfolk. I guess NYC was too much

Excellent @quietriotpod.bsky.social Sunday School today. @mrkennycampbell.bsky.social story about the Eiffel Tower reminded me of when my son went to US as part of the Kids Lit Quiz team and his Norfolk teacher was too frightened to move from the edges of Central Park and see the rest of New York

I beg to differ. We have just been the beneficiaries of what I suspect was a pilot scheme. My community group, Shop Fakenham, has just received a gov funded £5000 grant to set up a website promoting the town centre and to restart a Saturday market. We are delighted.
