i feel like a concerning amount of people treat morality as just a long list of things that are wrong, and havent developed an underlying ethical framework to actually understand why any of it is right or wrong

One of the things that bugs me the most is that I feel like they're winning even if they lose in the sense that part of their ideology is triumphing, that some of their fundamental assumptions are going unchallenged.

i just feel like trench crusades burns so hot to accomplish so little. the people who were supposed to be shamed by the satire and questions of it never will. satire like that will just never work. the target will just repeat a version of the Jarhead marines watching Apocalypse Now

It's gonna be crazy watching them have to double down just get the same outrage/attention. At this point, they have to promise to deport all non-whites, reinstate slavery, nuke California, and disembowel blue state politicians live on stage just to get heard over their competitors.

God is all powerful and on their side but also they have to be constantly vigilant or evil invaders/demons/immigrants will destroy them utterly the moment they let down their guard. God will protect them but they need endless guns, intrigue, and cruelty to protect themselves.

Vegan turkey just sucks. There are a lot of great vegan meat substitutes but i'd rather just eat vegetables than vegan turkey.

No one made cranberry sauce from scratch this year and I miss it. I like the canned stuff fine but the homemade stuff is on another level.

The indigenous population of this country did not practice widespread child sacrifice before the Christians came. It's a bullshit premise, anyway. Even if they did, it would not justify what was done to them. Not to mention this supposedly "unsavage", civilized nation kills kids all the time.

So, what happened recently was we basically got the materials to install wood flooring in the living room for free. We had to pay someone to install it but that's not even close to a complaint. I've spent all day basically marveling that I actually have good floors for once.
