Clinically these goats just concentrate on breathing with open mouths and loose weight rapidly. This is a terrible disease. The arthritic form is more common.

*The combo of interstitial pneumonia, prominent alveolar exudate, & prominent lymphocytic component is highly characteristic of CAEV infection.
