Sometimes I'll remember the character Me-Mania from PERFECT BLUE, & how Satoshi Kon wasn't "ahead of his time." He just REALLY knew what he was talking about with fan entitlement & how messed up it really is.

This is why I have a huge issue with IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE.
Jimmy Stewart may have been an absolute cinnamon roll onscreen, but if this one guy was LITERALLY the one thing keeping the town from falling to ruin, & no one else was willing to put in the work, maybe it deserved to crumble.
