Where do all the dataviz people hang out on Bluesky?

There used to be a pretty lively community on Twitter. But now that we've all had some time over on this app .... has it just not grown back? Or have I not found it? #dataviz

Does anyone have the link to the original Bloomberg article that included this graphic about the AI bubble? I keep seeing the graphic in isolation from the original article. I don't have a bloomberg sub so searching for it is proving difficult.

It is very funny that this Pope is just going to get jerseys from now on. Everyone decided that's what this Pope likes and that is it. It's like if your grandmother got you a puzzle for Christmas one year and you said you liked it so your entire extended family is like "oh that's the puzzle kid"
Spike Lee just blessed Pope Leo with a custom Knicks jersey during his visit to the Vatican, just one week after the Pope was gifted a custom Chicago Bulls one.

I've been collecting pandemic era signs that nobody can be bothered to take down or remove. There's something grimly fascinating about this. Putting them up was urgent and important; removing them is nobody's job. How long will some of these hang around?

The most dreadful origin story for a chart type?:

Near Bellevue, a locomotive axle snapped on the descent to the city. The iron horse pitched over the rails, the boilers ruptured, and the front passenger cars jackknifed.

In moments the wreck became a furnace.

This really is the pits. This is not a design that — whatever you think of them — Saudi Arabia, the organisers of the 2034 World Cup have anything to do with. Has popped up randomly on social, caught fire and now pushed for attention by the Mail. Pathetic business.
