My vet said lasers cause your cat frustration bc they can never “capture” the target. Cotton or straw or bunny fur mice or birdies are better.

Trump doesn't qualify for the #PeacePrize for any altruistic reason. He deserves credit for forcing peace (for now) in Gaza, but his motives are selfish and his actions lack integrity. He isn't known for nonviolent methods either. Peaceful? Hah! And, he only craves the award bc Obama received it.

Gotta be honest, this doesn't sound like Trump, especially the integrity and nonviolent methods part. I was worried that the Nobel Peace Prize was becoming too politicized and would be used as an incentive rather than a reward. Well, not this year.

Since 1/4 of Americans have low literacy skills, they aren't able to reach conclusions based on evidence and reasoning. Their employment is limited, so that must make them disgruntled as well as gullible. Ripe for the picking by Trump.

Specifically yes, but more generally our Parliament has a longstanding UK tradition of allowing loud and obnoxious shouting during Question Period. It has become accepted practice, and Conservatives have carried it to the extreme.

Let's hope Blair and PM Carney can keep Kushner in check. I'm going to wait and see what's in store for Palestine, but hopefully Canada will have an important role upholding progress towards a two-state solution with peace, prosperity and equality for all. Our PM won't support colonialism.

Imo, some Canadians are too quick to bitch, too slow to recognize diplomacy/ strategy, and too impatient or naive to grasp that there are no simple or instant solutions to complex problems (aka Trump).

Considering Trump's change in tone towards Canada, our boycott must be adding pressure. His self-inflicted tariffs on American consumers and importers were bad enough, but now their economy must be feeling the effects of reduced Canadian demand for their exports and vacation destinations.

I recall watching a NOVA show on PBS about the Citicorp building and its bolt problem as well as not factoring in the quartering winds. Fascinating stuff, but what a nightmare for the structural engineer. He handled it right though.
