The year is almost over. In a lot of ways, 2025 has been difficult but it's also been the best year of my life so far in so many ways.

This was in January, I was freshly out of what I now recognize as a couple of incredibly abusive relationships & was just beginning something new.

hot take but if you prefer the bisexual flag over the pansexual flag, you have the pride flag taste of someone who only eats chicken nuggets at mexican restaurants

ICE deserves to find out exactly what the purpose of the second amendment was for
ICE detain father shopping on Christmas Eve—then steal his family's groceries.

Then 3 agents divvy up his paid for food—taking what they want for themselves.

"Can I just get the wife's number to call and let her know?" woman asks.

"No, guess he should've complied," agent says.

I am committed to vigorously defending Minnesota’s medical providers who do incredible work to treat and care for all Minnesotans, including our trans neighbors. I have already taken the Trump Admin to court to stop them from scapegoating the trans community. I will not hesitate to do so again.

Republicans voting against the felony national trans youth healthcare ban were Brian Fitzpatrick (PA), Gabe Evans (CO), Michael Lawler (NY), Mike Kennedy (UT).

Dems voting FOR the felony ban were Henry Cueller (TX), Vincente Gonzalez (TX), Don Davis (NC).

3 NVs on both sides.

Just now, a national trans healthcare felony ban for youth has passed the US House, with 10 year prison terms.

3 Dems crossed party lines to vote to jail providers.

4 GOP crossed party lines to vote against.

It is not expected to pass the Senate, where Dems hold filibuster power.

Story to come.

In a just world, those 3 dems would be tried for enabling a genocide

"It's time we talked about the structural natalism of late stage capitalist technocratic elitism"
People have completely ruined the term "structural" when it comes to analysis of social issues. It's become nothing more than a buzzword anymore.

Sorry, but adding the word structural in front of a concept does not make a sentence some structural critique.

I really gotta do my critique of utilitarianism & the full adoption of ends based politics soon...
To add a bit of a tangent, it is also really telling that the average voter (and this is the case for even Republican hoosiers) doesn't want to redistrict, but the average Republican will still justify Trump's actions, even with his handpicked Governor having middling approval ratings.
