The only "appropriate use case" is "none".
It is my greatest hope that they can be made to see reason and ditch genAI, since the wording here means they aren't raw-dogging it like LEVEL-5. But if I find out genAI was used in a Sonic game, that will be my "canary in the mine shaft" moment.
