The puzzlemaker/workshop update came out in 2012, so maybe you were confusing it with that. Since that's also when you would have started seeing community map playthrough videos and the like start to appear.

Portal 2 came out in 2011, so the 15th anniversary is actually in 2026 - this coming April. Orange box 20th will be the year after that, and I imagine will mainly be focused on TF2 since Ep2 and Portal would have kinda already been covered by the HL2 and P2 anniversaries respectively.
