Weaver House, the yarn shop and weaving school that has drawn fiber arts enthusiasts from around the world, announced it will shut its doors for good in December.

Founder Rachel Snack hopes that a weaving or teaching enthusiast might buy these Macomber looms and start their own weaving school.

Are you looking to buy looms? The Weaver House in the Bok building is closing.

The shop owner is looking for a single buyer for the floor looms acquired from the University of the Arts after the school shuttered.

I used to use mine as a safe first date place when I was on the apps. Being able to trust the bartender to keep an eye out and know by my order if I needed help was such a relief!

I just clicked on a link on the NYT app (I know, I know) and instead of an article it was a video. Didn’t they used to make it clear you were choosing to watch a video? Honestly, expecting to read and instead being forced to watch feels like the worst bait & switch.

Irritated Bailey made it out of Last Chance Kitchen, and to Top Chef Milan. She seems like she thinks she deserved it more than anyone simply because she's "the only Italian chef". Hope she's held to that same standard in judging.
