1922 Indianapolis 500 Thread #Indy500 🧵

In May 1922 my grandfather accompanied his friend and race driver Ralph Mulford to the Indy 500 where Mulford raced. Mulford had to drop out at lap 150, while he was in 3rd place, due to a broken valve.

1) Do they have a building permit for this construction?
2) If not, and POTUS lied about scope of work, construction should be halted and there are grounds for the architect to lose his license to practice.

I’ve seen interviews with Halligan. She can barely stitch a sentence together. Like Habba, I cannot imagine how they got through law school let alone pass the bar. Utter incompetence.

This is actually criminal activity. The Whitehouse is a designated landmark and there are actually review processes that must be undertaken for any renovations or additions. All of this violates those laws and standards. Frankly, the architect of the project should have refused the commission.

I’ve listened to Nick Drake since early 1970s, probably have most of his recordings, even some of his mother Molly’s songs. When I heard this collection of pre-Five Leaves demos and archival history was coming, it was an instant purchase. The interviews about this collection sounded fascinating.
