There is that, lol. Again, I appreciate it.

Thanks so much, man! For this, plus the beta reading. If you haven't ordered from Amazon yet, I'm trying to do signed copies for a little cheaper. I can let you know when that happens if you'd rather have a signed one. Also, lmk if you want me to email you a free epub version.

Here's a 🎁🔗to this article. I am sharing it on NextDoor because the author stresses that people who are about to see their coverage go up *have no idea.* We're about to see a lot more pain, anxiety, and anger if we let this move forward. wapo.st/4q6TLuw . I think it's possible to copy-paste the link

It really is! And now I guess I need to get busy finishing the next two.

So, this showed up a day early. It looks fantastic!

Morning, folks. Quick update: ADTR is formatted, and I'm waiting on a proof copy from Amazon. Hopefully, both print and e-versions will be available by December.

Book 2 (An Empire Drowned) is in process. I'm currently sitting at 17k (so, probably another 100k words to go).

Thanks man! I’m really happy with it. Next I have to finish formatting and get it published.

Hi Celine, I appreciate you sending your portfolio - there's some great work in it. I have already chosen an artist for this project. I'll keep your info for something else if that's ok?
waltshuler.substack.com
A huge thanks to everyone who either shared info about an artist or gave me their portfolio link. I've selected the artist for the cover, and they've been notified.

I appreciate it and I'll definitely keep you in mind!

I did check it, but I ultimately went with a different artist.

I did check it, and while I loved your work, I ultimately went with another artist.

We went through New Mexico when I was in high school, but I don't remember what the skies were like. Arizona (up around Flagstaff) was amazingly beautiful.

Georgia, Colorado, and Nevada all have their own uniquenesses from my experience, but Florida is definitely in a class of its own.

Agreed. Florida is so level, and there's so much moisture in the atmosphere, that the clouds build up fantastically.

From yesterday's run. There are very few things I'll miss when we finally move out of Florida, but I will miss the skies.
The sunrise illuminates clouds red and purple, with a black treeline at the bottom of the picture.
