Just finished Graydon Carter's memoir. It was fantastic! Right up there with books by Tina Brown and Terry McDonell.
I expect David Remnick to pen one as soon as he's done at The New Yorker.
Maybe David Granger is working on a book about his time at Esquire?
Mag nerds should be so lucky.

His family has now confirmed that Barry Malzberg passed away this evening, around 4:30pm. RIP.
legendary sci-fi/speculative fiction writer, critic & black-humor curmudgeon Barry Malzberg is said to be very ill, in hospice, & surely would love to receive some greetings via Bluesky or elsewhere. sorry I have not more details. (here, with Barry two years ago.)

To say Jean Jennings was a magazine legend is an understatement.
