Bari Weiss at CBS News sent lawyers to Colbert to block them from even interviewing James Talarico with threats of legal action. Solely because he is a Democratic candidate.

They are officially state-run media.

The Republican powers that be -- including the wealthy GOP donors who now control many forms of media -- don't want to let @jamestalarico.bsky.social gain momentum. Why? Because he stands a good chance of flipping a Senate seat blue in red Texas.

Let's support James Talarico and make it happen.

Pour one out for the GOAT.

You can’t be a literary interviewer without reckoning with the work and influence of Michael Silverblatt.

Ours is not a large tribe—especially not over time. Very few people devote decades to this oddball, obsessive niche. I should know. 1/

It's unchartered, but we can see the terrain: the territory ahead includes masked secret police taking people to concentration camps but not new vaccines. That's our reward for a system in which fewer than 20 people, all of them deranged and malicious, control over $3 trillion.
The pace at which US wealth concentration is rising is simply staggering
