Cause it is easy to get burn out on this game.

Also until something in the game actually clicks with you, it is difficult to understand why people like this game.

However, holding the accumulated coreflames plus the endless cycle wears down on Phainon's psyche. So after a while the Flame Reaver just becomes a near mindless gibbering husk as that is all that remains of Phainon's dimishing will.

The Flame Reaver persona is born by Phainon separating his heroic ideals from his mission, so that he can carry on his guresome task of cutting down the Chrysos Heirs of each cycle without psychologically breaking down.

What happens is that no one person is meant to hold more than one coreflame, so with each coreflame taken, Phainon is slowly being burnt away by the accumulated coreflame's power, resulting in the husk of a body the Flame Reaver is.

What Phainon is doing is less reincarnation and more inheriting memories and coreflames. Before every reset, old Phainon will give new Phainon his accumulated memories and coreflames, dying, then new Phainon goes into the next cycle.

Ineffa was released at the tail end of Natlan's story, so her story is used to answer several of the slow burns that was set up in Natlan, specifically those introduced in the Volcano of Tolan.

That is because Genshin already have plenty of slow burns that has been brewing since its beginning. Ever since Natlan update, every story beat has been to slowly pay-off the mysteries that have been set-up since 1.0.

The Remembrance path is the summoner/beast master class. and summoners often are very versatile in function as they use the creatures to perform roles of other classes.

Going forward, new paths will probably be used to interpret or express old roles in new ways rather than trying to be a new unique class with unique never seen before function.

Probably because the old path already encompass rpg roles in a very solid way, so making more paths that do not overlap the old classes' roles very difficult.

The Remembrance path is the summoner class, and that role have always being the class that overlap other classes.

Which is hilarious because Britain irl during Saber's time does indeed look exactly like Aedes Elysiae. This is the devs being accurate to source and doing proper research while trying to be efficient with budget.

Apparently, a lot of the copyright claims are done by Tencent and their shell companies. Which means the billiona dollar company is still sour and holding a grudge about being unable to buy out Mihoyo before Genshin debuted.

I will also genuinely disagree with the game being shallow. The combat generally may not be mechanically intensive like Devil May Cry, but team building and elemental synergy are incredibly deep as mechanics go. People are judging a fish for its ability to fly like a bird.

The worst part is that a lot the eng VAs for Hoyoverse are forced to come out of the woodwork to explicitly state that they do not condone his views and reject it, as the man proclaimed that most VAs in the industry/he works with share his views.

Flin is stronger than Keqing, but he is bound to a Electro-charge reaction team as part of his kit and playstyle.

He will also need a second Nod-Krai character to get full racial buff, and Aino happens to fit the bill just fine (until Columbina releases as per speculations).

Impact is mostly marketing, in reference to Honkai: Impact 3rd their previous game despite little relations. In the other main dub languages, the game is simply called Genshin.

It ties back to the gnostic themes that the game uses heavily as foundation of its lore and story theming basically. They just use the word Genshin because it flows better than allogenes and because the company consists of massive weebs.

Genshin is just the japanese pronunciation of the 2 chinese characters that make up the word Genshin. On its own, it mean primordial god, but it just the word the game uses for the term allogenes, or as the game refers them as, Vision holders aka he playable roster barring the exceptions.

Hilariously, Amber from has a lot of obtuse mechanics/techs that makes her a monster in terms of gameplay. That is why she has dedicated fans that take her to showcases clearing endgame content even to this day.

A product of her being a 1.0 character.

Tanjiro's Japanese VA has been looking to get a role in Genshin ever since he started playing and found out almost all of his VA friends voices a character in the game.
