My bad, I should have talked to the torturers and attacked them through the dialog choice instead of assuming they're as evil as everyone else manning the dungeon (they were all that was left). 🙄

Yes, Elaryn found a cure that transfers a Warden's Blight to a spirit. She brought it to Weisshaupt, started a teensy civil war over making it accessible, then went south with like-minded Wardens to form the Wardens of the Peace, a faction less bound by tradition for tradition's sake.

Gave some thought to how the Guardian looks this time. Usually I just spam random until it's something not completely ridiculous. 😜

But this time the Emperor pulled from deep within Aneira's psyche and drew inspiration from a portrait of Tyr she saw when she first became a paladin.

I just finished a 50 hour BG3 run.
I started playing ME2 after.
I'm having a rough time having fun with it because of it being a TPS.
Probably starting Aneira over and reallllly taking my sweet time lingering in fantasy comfort gaming.

I finished my Aneira run a few days ago. I left it to fate to determine if she was going to become my new canon (if she managed to get a crit to dominate the Absolute; she did not 😝). Still, playing a Paladin was so much fun I'll definitely play her again. And, y'know, Gale. 😍

Hell yeah Elaryn wanted to join. As the spare child, she wasn't looking forward to a life of household management and pumping out heirs for some lesser noble. Being a Warden opened up a world of freedom for her. (This is also why she'd rather risk Anora as queen than rule with Alistair.)
