Why do so many feel like they've fallen behind?

It's not because of immigrants, trans people, DEI, the “deep state,” or any other bogeyman trotted out by the GOP.

It's because big corporations and billionaires have rigged markets and siphoned off most of the economy's gains.

After firing 100+ immigration judges and revoking protected status from legal immigrants, the Trump regime now wants to strip citizenship from hundreds of naturalized Americans every month.

Trump never cared about “legal immigration" — just inflicting cruelty.

Rolling annual mean CET for 2025 has just crept into a record-breaking position, with the mean temp on Dec 13th warmer than any other year in the dataset.

There's a good chance that 2025 could end up the highest on record for mean CET, based on previous years, but not a done deal.

have fun with the midterms, guys
Q: How quickly will this affect prices at the grocery store?

TRUMP: I think the prices are gonna be, ah, going down already. I mean, the prices are way down. We brought prices way down from what it was. We inherited high prices.

The reduced ability of vegetation & soils to capture & store carbon may have kept temperatures elevated for >100,000 years

Today Earth is warming ~10 times faster than it did 56 million years ago
56 million years ago, the Earth suddenly heated up – and many plants stopped working properly
