i will always remember taking the bus home in like 6th grade, my bus pass was so beat up and probably expired it wasn't working. the driver just gently patted my arm and said "i aint gonna make you walk", ill never forget him 😭

i love almost everything they've done with the combat and making the partner systems more impactful was a good move, but for everything i like there is for sure something pissing me off]

its hard to enjoy code vein 2. the open world does nothing for the gameplay but add an activity barren void occasionally broken up by a pack of enemies.
the "dungeon" areas are lacking flavor in visuals and design so far, and it feels like they suffered a lot for the sake of an open world.

Yup, they're extinct though (too much history to post, I'll do a full dedicated post at some point for them)
They're unique even for Hollowborns. Their face is a "spell circle" (which turns into a halo for half-nimaris), you can technically read their expression to know which spell they're casting

i keep my own hubris in check by occasionally reminding myself that vriska was my first real exposure to loving a character that does awful things (she didn't do anything wrong actually your honor, god forbid girls do anything)
