Yeah, the "black" has a fairly high-contrast between the light and dark areas, so I dyed it much darker than it started. The blue on the hand/chest/back is also extremely bright before dying
No, the bicep and thigh bands are red elastic that I sewed to fit, they're not attached. I'm actually planning to add silicone beads inside the bands because they slip. The bodysuit has multiple buttonholes to keep it from fraying when I remove the pucks for washing, and a pretty heavy dye job
it was originally a Samus zero suit bodysuit from Cosplay Life, but it's been dyed and modified pretty heavily
the bodysuit is a gray Samus zero suit that I dyed and made modifications to. The fingers weren't conductive, so I cut them off at the wrist, but I'm planning to get a new suit and make it fingerless, instead

I like being a replika. The "kiss girls and be strong" behavior comes pretty naturally #signalis #cosplay

(I finished my gloves (both layers) and the tummy nipples!)

I have the best idea for a v2 of the front plate
"modern" take on a #signalis LSTR #cosplay. Made a few edits to make the bicep+thigh bands tighter so they stop slipping, and I don't have my gloves on, but this was a good test fit

oh, and I want to model and print some little white knobs for the back

09 Toxic. Though they're rather expensive, I like using the occasional flexible hose in a build. I was pleased to find that 1x4 plate with studs only on the ends in dark purple, but I should have segmented the torso instead. Very happy with the sludge effect though. #LEGO #Mechatober2025 #Mechatober
it *is* a bracket! My girlfriend and I were debating it and looking at distances. I thought you might have stuck it onto a clip, she thought it was a bracket
ooh I *love* the half-turn for the back section!

Day 24: Test Flight. Struggled for ideasβ€”shelved one for a later prompt, while another was too boring. But I'm glad I pushed through, because I love how this turned out. Exposed tubes and wires don't suit my setting, but I'd like to do more like this. #LEGO #Shiptember #Spaceshiptember2025 #SST25
I had leadership training that was so engaging and informative it genuinely shocked me, once: They focused on giving you ways to group people into "colors" according to their motivation styles, and then a second session where they covered "levels" of delegation and the importance of agreeing on them

Yeah, no. I'm a contractor, I write for games, and sometimes that means writing 100% of a game's text. I'm a valuable part of the team! Contractors aren't just "support", they deserve to be credited (and treated) better than this
I had to build a Blender scene for that, but I'm no pro at it, so the results are mediocre. I also found out there's a *quite complex* way to get the part libraries set up for the Blender LDraw plugin. I think I wrote it down the last time I tried this
this gives such a nice effect with the layering, I like that it looks a bit like a map I don't have a key for, or a... ooh, this would be a really sick dithering pattern
