I don't know much about anime, but this is very reminiscent of Wicked/Maleficent, right? Extra interesting because both are postmodernist retellings of a story from a more feminist "what if you were duped by patriarchal storytelling, and actually, the female villain was wronged/right" POV

I mostly now feel bad for the artist who provided a team with a logo, but wasn't asked to do a full logo treatment, so they did it without them. Maybe they had consent, I don't know! But I personally don't think social logos are enough of a necessity for a website that you just HAVE to use AI

A rep has confirmed that the OG logo is real human art, which is good, but the social logos and the website background are AI. I don't love that they used AI to copy a logo that a human artist did, but I do apologise for insinuating that the initial logo was AI

A rep for Sackbird Studios tells me the team's logo was hand drawn by a human artist.

Some elements of the website did use AI and were later touched up.

this is reassuring but it does mean they plugged an artist's work into AI in an attempt to make the social icons vaguely match, instead of commissioning multiple logo treatments, and I would not be okay with that as an artist :/
