Crews have ramped up cleanup efforts after a second diesel leak from the same generator was discovered this morning, with an additional est. 332 gal into the creek. No new wildlife impacts observed. Boom remains in place. No fuel has reached Bellingham Bay. For updates: cob.org/project/padd...

SR 11 Chuckanut Drive - Road remains closed between Oyster Dome trailhead & Chuckanut Manor
UPDATE 7: Crews are working six days a week to remove debris & loose rock along SR 11/Chuckanut Drive. Once scaling is done, rock drilling will begin to reinforce the slope. Road remains closed between Oyster Dome trailhead & Chuckanut Manor. Businesses, trails and park remain open.
