It’s newsworthy because you weren’t arrested or institutionalized for drinking coffee until 2003 and weren’t just given the right to openly drink coffee a decade ago only for them to start revoking it again in 2026 when this should no longer be an issue.

No they don’t. But they should be able to celebrate themselves and their families openly without fear of violence or discrimination like every one of their cishet colleagues and the fact they can’t, still in 2026, is ridiculous. Esp since we’ve only had our rights a decade and they’re being revoked.

Then stop calling it “life choices.” We’re born LGBTQ, it’s not a choice/sin/illness. And we’ve known this since the 70s yet it still took nearly 50 yrs to get basic rights, which we’re already losing again. So you continuing to call it choice only feeds the propaganda machine.

LGBTQ people care. Because we didn’t have rights until a decade ago and they’re now being taken back. The fact you say preference and not orientation shows you still don’t know we’re born this way, which has been scientific fact since the 70s and why representation (and LGBTQ history) is important.
