I've finally gotten around to reading Nelson & MacIlwraith by K Sterling and it's so very good--completely compelling (which is a problem because I have things to do but want to read all day instead). very annoyed with past-mel for holding onto this one for so long before giving it a go.

In the last few years, reviews have trickled to a near standstill, which creates a conundrum: need readers to get reviews, but need reviews to get readers.

So many review sites are there, Bookbub, Goodreads, Storygraph... You can review literally anywhere except amazon without having to pay anything. Just one line would do if you loved the book. You don't know how much it means to authors to have that review.
