Anyone else riding a vintage bike from Bell St Bikes? (located near London’s Paddington Station but out of business for years). I had my 1985 bike rebuilt recently by the great team at C and L cycles in Montreal, and it is riding like a dream. The BSB 400 logo is just about still visible.

Yes. It could be a completely rational decision but in the current climate there is justified paranoia.

Agree Paul. But what was the process that led to this decision? Rational review or ideologically driven decision making? How can we know?

Reckon we still have a while before ChatGPT replaces genetic counselors
ChatGPT chat interface. The prompt is “draw a pedigree illustrating second cousins” and the response is a nonsensical pedigree including sibling consanguinity between a pair of brothers

Musk is personally complicit in destroying scientific institutions and data and livelihoods. He is promoting dangerous disinformation and conspiracies. His comments have endangered at least one scientist personally.
