Message to Trump - Replacing Jerome Powell will not fix your problems.
Trump's focus on the Federal Reserve lending rate is misplaced and won't solve mortgages or the interest on the National Debt.

I see a lot of people talking about how depressed they are over recent events.
First - don't lose hope. The people yelling on social media and on TV are the extremes, most people are in the middle and they just want to live their lives. 🧵1/5

Blaming the overdoses on fentanyl is just like blaming the mass shootings on the guns. It ignores the despair and desperation that drive the hand to wield them. Until we address the poverty and inequality we cannot find success. And that starts with a balanced federal budget. #FixingAmerica

Remind the Congress, they can override a veto!! Would be a great time to do that.
Abominable.
NEW: President Trump's first veto of his second term kills a unanimous bill to fund a major drinking water project in Colorado. Trump had threatened punishment for Colorado for imprisoning his ally Tina Peters. www.9news.com/article/news...

People on another social media site asked about gasoline prices and how administrations affected it. The reality is the price of a barrel of oil is the biggest drive of gasoline prices and that is Trump's reason for trying to keep oil below $60/barrel even when it harms US production.
December 29, 2025 at 6:29 PM
Pay Attention - Texas Oil Production peaked in October 2024 and is now down by over 400k barrels per day.

This is due to low oil prices, but it is also due to all the easy acreage is drilled, we only have the more expensive stuff left.

This will be the issue of 2026.

And the shame is they all thought it was a good idea.

Why does this feel like a bad idea?

I met with a man who read my book. He liked it, but called it naïve and aspirational. Said the ideas were nice, but impossible to do in the midst of partisan strife. But isn’t that the point. Our goals should be aspirations of the world we want our children to inherit.

This is a lie. Because that isn’t how parties work in Texas. If you vote in the Democratic Primary then you are a Democrat. If you vote in a Republican primary you’re a Republican. There is no such thing as registered Democrats. Democratic Primary was 982,069. Republican primary was 2,323,019.
