I've had to manly things to work out why my wood burner wasn't working, turns out a vent had been closed when it was swept that I didn't know about.

Most minor was being stood two places down a queue from Rick Stein at Heathrow Airport who was ordering a coffee. He spoke to the people making the coffee with such warmth, interest, and humanity at just after 6am that it tells me that the lovely man we see on our screens is clearly genuine.
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

How have I missed "Sapphire" by Ed Sheeran. I didn't think I liked Ed Sheeran much (nothing against the man) and schwap - hummdinger of a brilliant song with some Punjabi thrown in for good measure.

PSA: Waitrose in Maidstone was very calm this afternoon. The staff were really helpful with finding things, and I have to say quietly, that the family shopping with their very disabled son in the wheel chair were an example to all of us of warmth, love and humanity, you can't fake that stuff.
