The local sheriff was horrified by the arrest of his recruit, and said the federal government is telling a different story of what’s really happening. trib.al/gbJ2xIU

In the video, the man can be heard shouting, “What’s wrong? I’m just coming from work. I don’t understand this.”

A federal judge has prohibited federal immigration agents in Minnesota from arresting, detaining, retaliating against or using force and chemical irritants against peaceful protesters and observers.
Federal judge bars ICE agents from ‘retaliating’ against protesters in Minnesota

For @msnownews.bsky.social, I wrote an article about how ICE Watch is grounded in sociological theories of violence prevention.

The reality is that most men will only commit public violence in extremely specific scenarios and ICE Watch disrupts the conditions necessary for escalation.

The Minnesota woman who died today was apparently a mother. Someone close to the family and who has access to a lawyer should help set up GoFundMe. IMO, the money should go directly into a trust, which should go directly to the child when they are 18 years old, not an intermediary family member.

THREAD: I'll fact-check all the viral misinformation about the US military operation in Venezuela in this thread

This image, purporting to show the US military arresting Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, is AI-generated.

If you are a Minnesotan, I need you to call or write your state lawmakers today. People are, as of today, not making payroll, declaring bankruptcy, wondering where they or their kids are going to live, losing their jobs. I know the politics are tricky, but this is the wrong approach.
You've probably been following the story about fraud in MN. I wrote about the people who provide services who are being driven into bankruptcy, thanks to the Walz' administration decision to hire Optum AI to screen all payments. It's a disaster.
Perry: Trusted providers are being unfairly swept up in Minnesota’s fraud crackdown
As the state's new anti-fraud screening system went into effect, the Holland Center expected to receive $212,000 in payments. It instead received $22,000, David M. Perry writes. If nothing changes soo...
