I was listening to a podcast of authors talking about "bad review" parties where everyone brings their most brutal review to try to win a predetermined prize.

Academics should do this with peer reviews.

I think my "amusing at best, waste of academic time at worst" is a strong contender.

Just want to remind everyone that Mike Flynn told a crowd of rabid QAnon troglodytes in no uncertain terms that the military should conduct a coup in order to reinstall Trump as an unelected dictator, and he never once was subject to the penalties that the UCMJ demands for that sort of thing

The DOJ ordered US Marshals to the house of the pardon attorney who refused to sign off on a pardon to give Mel Gibson back his guns. Big law firms told her they supported her but did not want to be seen representing her.

This segment is so so good. Truly no one out there uses his platform like John Oliver
Was thrilled to help consult for this fantastic John Oliver segment on the tragic plight of U.S. public media and why, if we hope to be a democracy, we still need public media for so many things that commercial media will never provide. Deserves a wide viewership. www.youtube.com/watch?v=yknM...
