I appreciate Metroid 4 reminding me of how to use the psychic bombs each time I need to use one as otherwise I'd completely forget they're there.

Much like the many 3rd party Star Wars LPs that littered the discount rack in our local Woolies in the late '70s I would soon also fall under the spell of any record that hinted at a Space Invaders connection. It was a confirmed sale if they actually had invaders on the cover.

It's a daft character and I loathed him being in Shang-Chi, upstaged by a flying footstool but hell, I could watch Ben Kingsley as Trevor Slattery all day long. Wonder Man is surprisingly entertaining.

TFA: Work paid for the whole company to go and see it and I remember coming out utterly deflated. Thought it was just awful.
TLJ: Enjoyed this more but its worst bits were far worse than anything in TFA.
TROS: I remember actually enjoying this in the cinema.

R.I.P. Sal Buscema. For me, one the quintessential silver/bronze age Marvel artists. It was always about the story and not him. I wouldn't search out the books he was on but I was usually glad when I read one he'd done.

I get letters from HMRC. They usually have my name and NI number on them yet when I try and log into my page on the gov website it says my details don't match their records and after three tries I'm locked out. Oh, for goodness sake. Really?

Why have a Board of Peace when you've got the UN? Surely it's not a blindly obvious attempt to replace it with something that the dumpster gets to control (and make a nice little billion or ten on the side)? After all, it's not like the logo even looks similia... oh.

Just to assure you all that I've not yet received my invite to be on the Dumpster's Board Of Peace™. Probably because they know I'm not likely to stump up their $1b grift after three years. Think of all the games and comics I could buy with that.
