Soon this is out on @routledgehistory.bsky.social .I argue that #witchcraft in DK was constructed through the eschatology and the ideals for good Christian people of the reformers, and the strive for the godly state of the early 17c. A godly ruler had a divine duty to eradicate witches #earlymodern
