Nine hour drive from Canberra to Coffs Harbour - rained all the way so plenty of stops and no rushing - drove past the outskirts of Buladelah, ground still bearing the scars of last weekend’s bushfire which claimed the life of a local bloke, John Lohan, not even 60 - this can be a brutal country.
