This kid was beaten and knelt on whilst on the ground.
There is video of him being led away.
I took these stills from that video.
Quick onset of that colour & size of bruising is a medical emergency.
Does anyone know if he was treated & is safe?

Social Cohesion™
How to Foster Division:

Terrorist attack results in tragic death of 15 humans

Ignore the grief and horror felt by the entire community

Invite a genocide enthusiast to support a subset of the community with no respect for the the rest of us

Attempt to silence dissent with violence

The electorate of #Kogarah really need to reassess who they have as their MP
Do you really want somebody who turns the police on citizens of all ages including people over 70, as you’re elected representative?

'Unhinged' would imply a lack of intent. I think there's was a lot of intent from what we saw.

I think we should all get to hear the orders given to police before the event.

I understand the state has shielded itself from tortious liability - but surely they can’t protect the police from
common assault charges (punching peaceful protesters who have their arms raised in surrender)?

And yet in Melbourne - with similar size crowd where we were blocking a major city intersection for over an hour, then marching - it wasn't like that. I'm pretty sure a similar mix of people were protesting Herzog in both cities. Spot the difference then.

Some of our staff were at the Sydney rally last night and report that the degree of police brutality was terrifying and unhinged.

Includes Albanese and Marles as well . I can't help but think they are holding back meaningful change for the sake of holding onto power. We need a PM with conviction.

I sadly was expecting it.
Similar to the weapons expo protest, the NSW government (i.e. Minns) was hellbent on protecting his views, and his special (genocidal) guest event, so he allowed excessive force, aka police brutality.

Where I was, the majority of people were over 60 yo. WTF!!

AMPLIFY #TruthInMedia
I should add that the SMH and Age reports are much much worse than the Guardian.
We need accuracy in reporting. Only the citizen journalists and independents like Michael West are telling the truth
Please don’t bother reading @australia.theguardian.com article it has several errors
This👇🏼👇🏼is correct
The crowd was all ages, peaceful around 15.000. More were blocked from attending. Townhall station entrances were blocked off
Police made it near impossible to leave
The videos tell the story

I'm glad I went early too. Didn't experience the cop intimidation at TH station.
I hung back as the crowd dispersed & made it safely home. But I witnessed the dirty expression on cops faces, cop lines boxing us in, mounted police pushing into the crowd, pepper sprayed victims.

These are the same tactics as those used in Brixton 40 years ago and nothing has changed. The media continues to deliberately report in a way that always implies the violence started with the protesters and subsequent police violence was justified.
