An actual hot take: Too many authors are afraid of editors watering down their voice or whatever and not afraid enough of editors letting you put any old slop on the page.

I finally have my Silksong opinion. Love it, just slightly less than Hollow Knight.

One bit: "Two damage attacks felt special in Hollow Knight. A two-damage boss was a name taker. A clock cleaner. An elite leg breaker sent by Team Cherry to ruin your shit."

I finally finished Silksong 100%, so now I'm positive: I like Hollow Knight more

If Techland had good stories in their games they may become too powerful, this is the counterbalance of the universe

My only complaint with Uber Lace was visual clarity in phase three and this boss's penchant for teleporting into your path of movement from off-screen to deal two collision damage. Def killed me more than all other bosses, but felt good by the successful run.

with love and pain in my heart, i'm sharing my first obituary:

🥀 the racehorse haru urara, popularized in her old age by horsegirl gacha game umamusume, has died after 29 years of stress, abandonment, and finally, salvation among heaps of ryegrass

Millions of gamers on Steam and beyond gather to mourn famously untalented horse who inspired the beloved anime girl in Umamusume, Haru Urara: "May she get all the grass and carrots in heaven"
