Canadian-built M4A1 Sherman, known as the Grizzly. Only 188 were produced, making this a rare survivor. This one stands outside the Vrijheidsmuseum in Groesbeek in the colours of the Sherwood Rangers, who fought in this area in 1944.

I’ve seen a few posts about the Lewis Chessmen recently and decided to buy a replica set. These are beautifully made from a stone/resin mix and have a lovely weight to them. I want to make a board for them and I’m thinking oak with bronze and bone inlays and a border carved with elder futhark runes.

The Tamiya MkIV Male is coming together very quickly. It has been designed so the larger plates are detachable for easy access to the motor. I put it in because it was very easy to do. I'm not sure how much use it will get.
