If a student wrote a shitty essay objecting to it, citing Sec Wright’s writing on fossil fuels, do I have to give them a good grade?

The thing about Mamdani is that being a big city mayor is inherently toxic. Everyone on here is going to hate him in approx. 2 months. It’s still good that he won, but arguably gave up the ability to be an actual national leader
